For watersports enthusiasts, the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the steam yacht 'Gondola’. Tarn Hows is one of the most visited beauty spots in the country, while Esthwaite Water is known for its fishing.
