Offering peaceful accommodation for six guests, the thoughtfully updated getaway enjoys glorious views and is ideally positioned for walkers, cyclists and nature spotters exploring an unforgettable corner of the Derbyshire countryside. The property's owners work closely with the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, and wild ponies have been introduced locally as part of rewilding efforts. This characterful hideaway is one of three properties within the perimeter of a walled nursery garden on the old Cressbrook estate; these can be booked together by larger groups. Entering this characterful single-level property, the cheery and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner makes a fantastic space for everyone to unwind in. With light streaming in through a wall of windows, the lounge also features a TV and ample seating, with a central dining table and a fully equipped, beautifully organised kitchen over to the side. Exploring further, there are three bright and airy bedrooms to choose between, each with a lovely double bed and a refreshing en-suite shower room. There's also a grassy shared garden with a picnic bench offering glorious views over Monsal Dale. Parking is available for two cars. The property lies just a mile from the idyllic village of Cressbrook, making a fantastic base for following the Monsal Trail. The popular market town of Bakewell is within easy reach (5.5 miles), and this stunning part of the Peak District is also home to Chatsworth House, Magpie Mine, the Thornbridge Estate and Haddon Hall, all within 11 miles.
