Spend a magical time away together at this generous Yorkshire farmhouse. Sleeping 10 guests, the five-bedroom retreat near Greetland, 4.5 miles from Halifax, comes with the extra special touches of indoor games and an outdoor bath. Discover the picturesque surrounding countryside together, visit nearby historical and beauty spots or simply indulge in quality time together and with your canine companion at the dog-friendly property itself. Open the door and enter via the hall. Wander into the kitchen/diner to your right, where you can make fresh coffee and cook dinner using either the Aga or electric oven. Pause at the breakfast bar while it roasts then lay the impressive table through in the dining room. The lounge/diner is also a great space to gather to play pool or watch the Smart TV in the comforting glow of the wood burner, which is set between the two areas. Alternatively, retreat to the snug to watch something else, read quietly or play on the games console. When you have finished having fun together and are ready to turn in, make your way up to the first floor of the house. Here you will find two super-king-sizes, a twin and two king-sizes, one of which has an en-suite shower room. There are also two lovely family bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath. Wander out into the sunshine to enjoy the outside space at this farmhouse. Luxuriate in the outdoor bath, which can be used either as a steaming hot jet tub or a bracing cold water plunge. There is ample parking at the property. Plan a trip out to Shibden Hall, 5.5 miles away, which was once home to Anne Lister, who inspired the popular BBC series Gentleman Jack. Visit Ogden Water Country Park, 8 miles away, with its woodland walks and nature trails.
