Just outside the tiny hamlet of Christon Bank, this inviting holiday retreat makes a fantastic hideaway for families and friends experiencing the Northumberland Coast National Landscape. Offering cosy and relaxing accommodation for up to six guests, the beautifully updated cottage has been decorated in light, soothing tones and features a cosy wood burner, exposed brickwork, wooden beams and a lovely south-facing courtyard. Perfect for walkers, beach lovers, cyclists and nature spotters, this cheerful barn conversion is ideally situated for discovering this magical region's secluded beaches, bustling market towns and glorious countryside. The airy lounge has a Smart TV, ample seating and a welcoming wood burner, making an ideal space for you to unwind in. Exploring further, there's a sleek and spacious kitchen/diner with exposed beams in the vaulted ceilings, plenty of equipment for family meals, and glazed arched doors allowing light to stream in. The ground floor also offers a handy shower room and the first bedroom: a charming twin. Upstairs, you will find a stylishly designed bathroom and two delightful king-size bedrooms, each with exposed beams. Outside, the front garden has a large lawn and bench seating, while the back courtyard is also enclosed, with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a fire pit, providing a wonderful space for you all to sit out stargaze into the dark skies. From Christon Bank, head east to the picturesque village of Embleton (2.5 miles) which has a choice of friendly places to eat and drink, with a popular golf course half a mile further on. The stunning Embleton Bay (4.5 miles) has a gorgeous beach. The historic Dunstanburgh Castle is a little further along the coast (6 miles) or you can head inland to the vibrant market town of Alnwick (9 miles), home to the stunning Alnwick Garden and the impressive Alnwick Castle.
