The two-storey stone cottage stands in lush green surroundings in Cracoe, a village at the southern end of the national park. It blends breathtaking character and modern style seamlessly, with exposed beams, fireplaces and stone walls surrounding characterful soft furnishings with splashes of colour. The lounge has a wood burner, hardwood flooring and comfortable seating that glows with natural light. The kitchen/diner is only a couple of pawprints around the corner and offers a comfortable eating area at one end, plenty of work surface space at the other and ample garden views in between. There are four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms standing off the first-floor landing, an area dominated by an imposing chandelier that hangs from the exposed beams. The en-suite king-size bedroom has plenty of storage space, the two king-size bedrooms have a character of their own, while the twin bedroom is ideal for youngsters.
