Sleeping 10 people, the handsome, five-bedroom retreat, which dates back to the 1700s, is situated 3.5 miles from Cockermouth and 11 miles from Keswick. The dog-friendly, group property nestles in 200 acres of beautiful grounds that guests are welcome to explore. Spread out and enjoy the magnificent, characterful space offered by this split-level Cumbrian abode. Head through to the kitchen/diner to whip up delicious meals with the local produce you have bought. Perch at the breakfast bar with a glass of fizz and the Smart TV on before serving Sunday lunch through in the dining room. Find a few quiet moments to yourself in the snug or wander down and up sets of stairs to find the splendid lounge, situated in a former barn. This is the perfect place to host your celebration, watch a film on another Smart TV or simply bask in front of the roaring wood burner. Steps from here lead up to a mezzanine-level library.
