The seaside towns of Burnham-on-Sea (9.5 miles) and Weston-super-Mare (8 miles) are within a short drive, with their golden sandy beaches and family entertainment, or head for the quieter beach at Uphill (7 miles). The first two weeks in November is carnival season with the renowned Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare carnivals all within a short drive.
