Just 0.5 miles away is the Bride Valley Vineyard which produces award-winning English wines and offers tours and tastings for visitors. Dorchester (9 miles) has an array of eateries and shops to peruse, plus five fascinating museums including the Dinosaur Museum and the Teddy Bear Museum. Alternatively, head out fossil hunting on a day trip to Lyme Regis (17 miles) where you can learn all about the interesting artefacts hidden across the beaches.
