The Route 42 cycle trail also passes nearby.

Inside, a warm welcome awaits thanks to underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner. The main living space comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a sumptuous corner sofa to sink into after a long walk, and a Smart TV/DVD for catching up on all your favourite programmes. A couple of steps lead through to the two inviting bedrooms; a double room and a cosy twin, both with en-suite shower rooms. Outside, you’ll find outdoor furniture and a fire pit within a large, enclosed, shared space. There’s also an enclosed paddock that’s ideal for four-pawed guests.

The historic village of Raglan has a great range of independent shops and eateries to explore, along with an impressive medieval castle. Alternatively, head to the picturesque town of Usk (5 miles) to potter around the shops, markets, and museums, or perhaps take a stroll along the River Usk or partake in a spot of salmon fishing. For a day of water sports, journey to Llandegfedd Reservoir (10 miles), or for a fun family day out, Raglan Farm Park is just 1.5 miles away.
