This idyllic rural retreat makes a perfect holiday base for families who would like to explore the magnificent scenery of the Moray coastline. Located on the famous whisky trail in Scotland’s central Highlands, you are just 2 miles from the town of Elgin with excellent leisure facilities, shops and quality pubs, restaurants and cafes. Attractions close by which are well worth visiting for a day trip include Brodie Castle and Cawdor Castle and the Moray motor museum, as well as Loch Ness and the excellent wildlife watching opportunities in the Cairngorms National Park. The property is part of a private working farm estate in a tranquil countryside setting, yet is convenient for all local amenities. The house is furnished comfortably with a welcoming feel and there are countryside and garden views from every bedroom. There is space to leave muddy wellies or soggy swimming kit in the utility room and the roomy kitchen/diner is a great social space. You can relax by the wood burner in the cosy and welcoming lounge after a day of exploring and enjoy the selection of books and board games available. On the first floor, the spacious and attractively furnished bedrooms offer a comfortable retreat to dream of the next day’s adventures and wake to the sound of birdsong. The large mature gardens and seating area are perfect for al fresco dining, kicking a ball about or simply enjoying the views.
