Experience the tranquil setting of Aberdovey, a quaint coastal village, at this traditional two-bedroom cottage in a convenient location. You’ll have shops, pubs, cafes and the beach just 400 metres away, and beyond the village, you can take scenic coastal walks and perhaps even observe marine life such as seals, dolphins and porpoises. This property is wonderful for a family or a group of four friends and has the bonus of being pet-friendly for up to two small dogs. The cottage has been beautifully modernised with a few period features remaining, such as ceiling beams and sash windows. In the welcoming open-plan living area, unwind after a day’s adventures, resting on the sofas and perhaps popping something on the Smart LCD TV and DVD player. The adjacent kitchen area is compact yet functional, while you can enjoy meals at the spacious table in the main area. On warm evenings, you’ll love using the bench at the front of the cottage to take in the sea air. There’s also a small private terrace at the back where you can dine alfresco if the mood takes you. You’ll find so much to do in this naturally beautiful part of Wales, whether you fancy birdwatching, lying on the beach or trying out water sports such as sailing and surfing. Feeling like pulling those hiking boots on? Then lace up and head out to explore the rugged terrain of Snowdonia National Park, perhaps starting with the 10-mile circular hike from Aberdovey to Llyn Barfog, also known as the Bearded Lake.
