The house is set in a quiet spot just outside Keswick’s bustling town centre, where you will find a fantastic range of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. There are plenty of attractions in Keswick including the Art Deco-style Alhambra Cinema, the Theatre by the Lake, the Puzzling Place, Keswick Museum and Art Gallery, Derwent Pencil Museum and the Keswick Climbing Wall and Outdoor Adventure Centre. Just outside Keswick is the 5,000-year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle (1 mile). The town is built on the shore of Derwentwater, with Bassenthwaite Lake just 5 miles to the north. Other local attractions include Honister Slate Mine (9.5 miles), Surprise View (3.5 miles), the Bowder Stone (5.5 miles) and the Lake District Wildlife Park (8.5 miles). Stepping outside, there’s a small back yard with outdoor furniture, and a small, raised terrace to the front of the house with a bench, providing pleasant spots for a morning coffee.
