This is a great base from which to explore the scenic and historic counties of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Conveniently located to the historic towns of Wincanton, Sherborne and Shaftesbury with its famous Gold Hill. Countless day trips include Fleet Air Arm Museum, Wincanton races, Sherborne Castle, National Trusts Stourhead house and gardens and Longleat Safari Park. The historic spa city of Bath, Bristol and Wells. If you fancy a change of scenery take a trip to the Jurassic coast or if you wish to explore further afield Templecombe train station is 3.5 miles and offers a mainline from London to the South West. Step into the beautiful light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a perfect place for a quiet, or romantic break away.
