Spend time together in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a room flooded with natural light and furnished with everything you need for slow mornings and restful evenings together. Take a short journey through winding country roads to reach one of Devon’s finest beaches at Welcombe Mouth (4 miles). This Site of Special Scientific Interest destination is filled with rugged beauty, complete with thrilling rocks, craggy rock pools and a magical waterfall. Cross over the border and into Cornwall to discover the eclectic seaside town of Bude, home to the livelier Summerleaze Beach (12.5 miles) that’s ideal for a summer’s day with facilities close by, a freshwater sea pool and surf lessons readily available.
