Just a few miles from the breathtaking Northumberland coast, this delightful single-level cottage offers light and cosy accommodation for seven guests across four bedrooms. Situated in beautiful countryside within easy reach of Bamburgh, this bright, spacious and imaginatively converted former barn makes a wonderful retreat for families, friends and couples. Offering far-reaching rural views, this fresh and airy property retains original features including exposed beams in a high vaulted ceiling, with a warming wood burner making this an idyllic bolthole for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Stepping into this imaginatively updated barn conversion, the main hall leads through to the light and stylishly designed open-plan kitchen/diner. A sociable space for preparing and sharing all your favourite family meals, this welcoming room has a range of equipment and features plenty of seating, a large dining table, stone flooring and exposed beams. Further exposed beams adorn the spacious and relaxing lounge, which has a welcoming wood burner, Smart TV, French doors allowing light to flood in, and plenty of seating including a window seat overlooking the patio. There are also four bedrooms decorated in light, soothing tones: two king-size rooms (one en-suite), a twin room and a single, along with the main family bathroom. Outside, the garden features a couple of patio areas and a small lawn with a choice of outdoor furniture, providing a lovely space for dining alfresco or gazing into the dark skies at night. The tranquil hamlet of Warenton is ideally situated between the magnificent Northumberland National Park (9 miles) and the spectacular Northumberland coast (6.5 miles). Along the coast, popular villages and resorts including Bamburgh (6.5 miles) and Seahouses (10 miles) offer some great places to eat and drink. Other local attractions include Budle Bay, The Alnwick Garden and St Cuthbert’s Cave (all within 15 miles).
