When you need a solo adventure or a couple’s escape, this fabulous getaway is the ideal choice. Its impressive interior is complemented by a hot tub on the deck outside and it’s ideally located for walking, cycling and other activities in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Slide open the glazed doors to this enticing retreat and you’ll find a refreshing interior with a curvy shape, planked walls and a wooden floor. A perfect backdrop to the simple life where you can truly relax and recharge. The living space is open plan, with a bijou kitchen tucked in a corner that includes an air fryer, a hob, a microwave/grill, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher – plus that all-important coffee machine for morning eye-openers. There’s a dining table for two and a comfortable sofa from which you can indulge in hours appreciating the glorious views or draw the curtains and enjoy a show on the Smart TV. At the far end of the pod, the king-size bedroom (one side of the bed is against the wall) is the perfect place for a good night’s sleep, and there’s a handsome shower room in which to enjoy a refreshing spritz. For fresh air and al fresco meals, your wraparound deck has dining furniture and a built-in BBQ. There is the ultimate in relaxation therapy: a hot tub with blissful views. The pod is set, with three others, on a fourth-generation Welsh dairy farm and is just 2.5 miles from the village of Corwen, which offers a small variety of shops and places to eat. In 10 miles, you can reach the picturesque medieval town of Ruthin, where there’s boutique shopping, fine dining and attractions including a Victorian gaol and a craft centre. The popular destinations of Bala, Betws-y-Coed, Denbigh and Llangollen are all within 15 miles.
