Sleeping eight guests, the exquisite, four-bedroom retreat, which welcomes dogs, makes an ideal base for one or two families or for a party of friends with something special to celebrate. Situated 8 miles from Hay-on-Wye, the impressive abode is 3 miles from the fringes of Bannau Brycheiniog, also as known the Brecon Beacons National Park. Step inside the building, which dates back to the 18th century, to discover exquisite, barn-style accommodation with a warm welcome. Light the wood burner in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner after autumn and winter walks then enjoy its cosy glow together as you watch TV or play games. This sizeable space has sections that are separated by beautiful stud walls and oak timbers. Prepare meals for your group in the large kitchen then call everyone to the table in the dining area. There is also a utility room downstairs, plus a boot room, with space for bikes, and a family shower room. The luxurious indoor hot tub is also on the ground floor. Climb the stairs to find two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other adjoining a twin room featuring a standard single bed and another that is 2’6” in size. An additional twin bedroom and a family bathroom are also on the first floor. Enjoy the warmth and fresh air out on the patio on summer days. Dine outside on occasion or have afternoon tea. Pick up the Wye Valley Walk within 500 metres of the holiday home. See the remains of Bronllys Castle, 3 miles away, which dates back to the 11th or 12th century.
