Perfect for a couple, and welcoming one dog too, this modern, one-bedroom holiday home with a roof terrace makes a great base from which to enjoy long walks through the national park, as well as to make trips to the coast. Find your way up into the light apartment, where your living area is centred around a welcoming, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take a seat on the sofa to watch TV, read your book or look out on to the colourful village below. The kitchen area is well equipped for preparing romantic dinners for two in here then enjoying them together at the table. Wander through into the airy bedroom, which has a double bed and doors on to the balcony. Step out here with your first cup of tea of the morning or enjoy a gin and tonic as another lovely day draws to an end. Find the handy shower room next to the bedroom. This apartment comes with a permit for one car for the nearby car park. Step straight out to pick up delicious local produce, sit down to a freshly cooked meal or browse in the interesting shops. Hire bicycles in the village and plan a route through ancient woodland and along leafy forest tracks. Look out for the roaming ponies, as well as donkeys and cows, among the trees. Head down to the coast at Milford on Sea, 8 miles away, if you fancy a swim or would like to take a sea fishing trip. Or, drive over to Lymington, which is 5 miles away, and book a ticket over to the Isle of Wight.
