During the day, head off for a hike at Skipton Woods, where you might be lucky enough to spot buzzards, red kites and kingfishers among the ancient trees. In the evening, come home to enjoy a romantic dinner before curling up on the sofa to watch a movie. Step into this quirky studio and you’ll be greeted by a vibrant, open-plan layout that exudes cosiness. Take a moment to soak up the colourful and cheerful styling of this perfectly-formed, compact living space before heading to the cleverly-designed kitchenette area to cook up some dinner. Savour an intimate meal for two at the versatile breakfast bar and then snuggle up in front of the TV with a glass of wine. At the end of the day, retreat to the comfy king-size bed in the sleeping area. To complete the layout, you’ll find a handy, beautifully designed shower room. Grab your camera and head to Skipton Castle (0.5 miles), which is one of the best-preserved Medieval castles in England. Visit the dungeons, check out the banqueting hall and climb up the watchtower to get some great photos. Alternatively, meet the farm animals and go for a fun tractor ride at Hesketh Farm Park (5.5 miles). Afterwards, lose yourself in the straw maze and stop off for a cuppa at the on-site cafe.
