Pack the dog lead, for your furry friend is welcome too, and spend your days exploring the secluded beaches, hidden coves and acres of woodland before returning to the welcoming comfort of this simple yet well-furnished cosy home for two. Make a delicious meal and dine alfresco as the sun sets on a day of fun. The warm reds and cool greys of the exterior stonework are reflected beautifully in the neutral creams, sands and pale oranges of the interiors of this lovely cottage, creating a calming and welcoming ambience. Bright, airy and attractively decorated, settle in to the open-plan lounge area to relax after a busy day, which becomes a cosy haven once the wood burner is lit - just make sure your doggy doesn't hog all the heat. On warm summer evenings, enjoy the stunning surroundings with a glass of wine on the patio or take out your morning coffee and wake up with the wildlife. Run, fetch and chase the waves at Chevron Fold (5 miles) and Boscastle (10.5 miles), or try the Bude Sea pool (8 miles). The seaside town of Bude (8 miles) is ideal for surfing, shopping and perusing local eateries. Explore the local history at Lawrence house (13.5 miles), a beautiful, Georgian town house. For parkland walks try Dunsland (14 miles) and for remote moorland, head to Bodmin Moor and climb Bray Down (28 miles). The picturesque harbour village of Port Isaac (21 miles) is also a fantastic day trip.
