This attractive, light and welcoming semi-detached cottage has been traditionally built from Purbeck stone and is located near the heart of the historic village of Osmington. With plenty of space for six guests, this charming property makes a fantastic base for a family keen to explore the Jurassic Coast. Osmington is known for the famous George III White Horse which is carved into the chalk hills of the South Dorset Downs, and the village is perfectly situated for visiting the coastal town of Weymouth (4.5 miles) and the thriving market town of Dorchester (8 miles). Three steps lead up to the porch and through to the tastefully furnished double-aspect lounge which makes a comfortable and welcoming space to relax in at the end of the day. Exploring further, you will find a spacious and stylish kitchen perfect for preparing your favourite meals, and a bright and airy dining room where you can sit back and plan the day. Heading upstairs, there are three cosy bedrooms: two twin rooms and a double room with an en-suite shower. Stepping outside, you can sit back and relax in the pretty gravelled garden which has outdoor furniture, a summerhouse, trees and shrubs. Parking is available for two cars. Heading to the coast you can explore Ringstead Bay (3 miles) Lulworth Cove (10.5 miles) and the natural arch of Durdle Door (10 miles). The popular seaside town of Weymouth is famous for its beautiful crescent bay, sandy beaches and attractions, including Sandworld and the Jurassic Skyline. You can also discover the beautiful Isle of Portland (11 miles). Inland, take a visit to Monkey World (10.5 miles) and The Tank Museum (11 miles). The area is associated with Thomas Hardy, his birthplace is in Higher Bockhampton (9 miles) and his home in Dorchester (7 miles).
