The open-plan sitting room/dining room/kitchen has space for the whole group to spread out and relax, with a wood burner and oak flooring adding cosy touches. The utility room and shower room are both handy for freshening up after trips to the coast. On the first floor, you’ll find two double bedrooms, one with a TV and a charming Victorian fireplace, plus a family bathroom. Then climb the spiral staircase to discover a single bedroom with views of the distant hills and the pretty garden - just mind your head in the eaves. At the rear of the cottage is a flagstone courtyard, with steps up to a beautiful cottage garden with a sunny terrace perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Walk or drive the 1.5 miles to West Bay and visit its working harbour and wide range of cafes and restaurants – not to mention the sandy beach. Take the South West Coast Path from West Bay to Hive Beach (3 miles’ walk) and refuel at the popular cafe or head to Bridport (1.5 miles) – a bustling market town with a wide range of independent shops and places to eat and drink.
