Discover this beautiful cottage in an idyllic rural location, less than 1 mile from Cley-next-the-Sea, one of the many beautiful villages dotted across the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. The cottage is perfect for a romantic weekend away and features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a king-size bedroom, and an attractive courtyard garden. It enjoys easy access to the Norfolk Coast Path, numerous nature reserves and towns including Wells-next-the-Sea. The single-storey cottage is a former apple store located within the grounds of the owner’s Georgian village house. The cottage is tucked into the lee of a walled garden, its light and airy interior blessed with an endless stream of natural light throughout the day. The split-level, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is an inviting space, with comfortable seating for two at one end and a sizable food preparation area at the other. A characterful king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space is only a few steps away, as is a spacious bathroom. The attractive gravelled courtyard garden offers garden furniture and plenty of space for al fresco diners. Cley-next-the-Sea (1 mile) is a picturesque village with an impressive range of independent shops that is also famed for its 18th-century windmill and impressive 13th-century church. The village’s shingle beach lies just beyond a riddle of waterways that feed into the River Galven and is a scenic bookend to the numerous local nature reserves – including the one at Blakeney (1.5 miles). The Norfolk Coast Path (1 mile) and other nearby routes are a haven for walkers and birdwatchers, while charming coastal towns including Wells-next-the-Sea (10 miles) and Cromer (12 miles) offer something for all ages.
