Entering this cottage you will find the cosy lounge which is an ideal room to unwind in, complete with an open fire, TV/DVD and plenty of comfortable seating. The bright and fully equipped open-plan kitchen/diner is a perfect space for cooking in, with a charming farmhouse-style dining table perfect for sharing all your favourite meals. The ground floor also offers a conservatory looking out to the garden, along with a handy shower room. Heading upstairs, there are two first-floor bedrooms decorated in light neutral shades: a king-size room and a twin zip-and-link. There’s also a stylish family bathroom along with an additional sleeping platform, suitable for teenagers, set in the eves of the cottage and accessed via a ladder over the stairs. Outside, the front garden is enclosed and paved, with mature planting. The conservatory opens out into the back garden which features the old well that gives the cottage its name, along with outdoor furniture perfect for dining outside. The picturesque village of Baslow has a wealth of great places to eat and drink, and is ideal for visiting Chatsworth House and its beautiful estate (2.5 miles). Keen walkers and climbers can follow the Monsal Trail, explore Curbar Edge (2.5 miles), or head underground at Speedwell Cavern (13 miles).
