Numerous local attractions and landmarks include Hampsfell, Eggerslack Wood and Holker Hall and Gardens (all within 3.5 miles). Heading north, you can explore some of the UK’s Great Lakes, with Windermere (6.5 miles), Coniston Water (16 miles) and Esthwaite Water (12 miles) all within easy reach.
