Situated on the owner’s grounds, 1 mile northwest of the charming village of Northlew, this lovely barn conversion is a perfect year-round getaway for friends or families. Within walking distance of the shop and pub, you’ll be wonderfully secluded from the rush of the modern world in the midst of quintessential Devon countryside. The castle town of Okehampton and Dartmoor National Park are just 8 miles away. 13 miles southeast at South Zeal, on the edge of the moor, lies a 12th century Benedictine Monastery, now a fine pub near a Neolithic standing stone. The welcoming ambience inside is of open-plan space, light and comfort. A lot of love has gone into this sympathetic conversion of a rustic building. The ground floor has a hallway for wet coats, a spacious king-size double and fresh twin bedrooms.
