With the owner close by to lend a hand or advise on the local area, families of six will surely want for nothing throughout their time here. Bright and cheerful throughout, this deceivingly spacious accommodation has been decorated with a contemporary style and plenty of home comforts. The lounge is a generous room with cushy sofas and a wood burner-effect electric fire, the prime location for enjoying cold evenings in, as well as French doors out to the garden. Meals can be taken either out here on the patio or in the open-plan kitchen/diner, another incredibly spacious room. Completing the ground floor is a charming king-size bedroom with en-suite, whilst upstairs on the first floor you’ll find a further king-size and twin bedrooms with far-reaching views across the Dorset hills. Benefitting from a truly remote location, the nearest town of Gillingham can be found just 3.5 miles away, an easy trip by car to pick up necessities. Similarly, the quaint town of Shaftesbury is a short car journey away (6.5 miles) with its historic Gold Hill, cobbled streets and independent shops and cafes. The town also lies on the edge of the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is never short of thrilling walking and hiking routes to be enjoyed. It wouldn’t be a trip to Dorset without a visit to its glorious coastline, an area which lies a little further away but well worth the trip (35 miles).
