Wonderfully located with fantastic views overlooking the rippling water and dramatic coastline at Thurlestone, this cottage is the perfect home to kick back in after days spent exploring the local area. This 1930s house is traditionally decorated and offers a cosy, comfortable living space for all the family to enjoy. The lounge is bright and airy thanks to the large French doors which open onto an outdoor patio area, you’re welcome to open up the doors as you watch TV and let the fresh air flood in. The kitchen/diner area is a lovely place to enjoy family meals and has everything you need to rustle up a tasty supper. On the first floor, you can find the two bedrooms, the double room is treated to sea views and both rooms are tastefully decorated. As the rooms are in the eaves of the house, sloping ceilings restrict headroom yet this space provides a charmingly quirky place to rest. The local village of Thurlestone has two fantastic beaches where you can enjoy relaxing in the sun, take a dip in the ocean or go surfing. Head into the village itself for great pub food and amenities to enjoy your holiday. 15 miles from home lies Dartmoor National Park, roam the magical moors in search of wild ponies, majestic tors and twisting rivers. If you fancy a spot of shopping head 25 miles to the city of Plymouth with its lighthouse and vibrant atmosphere.
