This single-storey, converted countryside barn with a contemporary feel is perfect for a family of three or a couple who are seeking a getaway in the Hereford countryside with two canine companions. Elegant and bright interiors with wooden beamed ceilings, an open-plan design and luxurious details throughout the property ensure a memorable and relaxing getaway. During the day, you can explore the nearby dog and family-friendly attractions, two national landscapes and quaint market towns. Enter the glass-fronted, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to find a tranquil grey, wooden and white space with a vaulted wooden beamed ceiling. Throughout is a pleasing blend of contemporary and chic furnishings with an airy lounge area containing a comfortable sofa and two armchairs in front of the TV. In the centre of the room is a round chic dining table and beyond here sits the stylish white and grey ‘L’-shaped fitted kitchen. Along the hallway is a wet room and two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a single room. Outside, you can enjoy views across to the lake from the private terrace with garden furniture. Go for a stroll around the grounds of the working fruit farm, along the waymarked paths, before getting familiar with your surroundings with a visit to Pencombe’s village centre (1.5 miles) which has a dog-friendly pub. Enjoy a picnic with panoramic views from the hilltops of Malvern Hills National Landscape (12 miles). Follow the riverside and woodland walking trails in the Wye Valley National Landscape (12 miles). Head to the market town of Ludlow (21.5 miles) to see the Norman castle and for a meal out at one of the independent eateries.
