This magnificent stone cottage is located amongst the beautiful Devon countryside. Set amongst four other barns in a peaceful courtyard, this unique complex is perfect for gathering family and friends all in one place. The cottage exudes charm and cosiness from every corner, but it's outside where the real fun lies. In the grounds you’ll discover a lake from which you’re welcome to fish, a games room complete with a pool table, a petting corner, outside play area, shared gardens and pretty woodlands - you won’t want to leave. The spacious nature of the barn welcomes you as soon as you step inside. Natural light pours in through the glass doors and the open-plan living/dining/lounge area is bursting with homely comforts and warm tones. Sink into the comfortable sofas and warm your toes by the fire - of which you are provided with a complimentary first basket of logs, cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, of which there is an additional table and chairs - perfect for enjoying breakfast on and enjoy home-cooked meals on the farm style dining table and chairs. The neutral palette of whitewashed walls and wooden features continues upstairs throughout the bedrooms. The charm follows through to the outside, where the whole party will be spoilt for choice with on-site activities - you won’t need to leave. Enjoying a tranquil location close to the Devon/Cornwall border, you can enjoy the best of both. Head to Bude, just 15 miles from the cottage to take a dip in the sea pool, build sandcastles on the long stretch of golden sand or enjoy a bite to eat in one of the fantastic eateries. The market town of Holsworthy is 5 miles away and is the perfect spot to stock up on local produce to cook back at the cottage. The fabulous family attractions of The Eden Project, Launceston Steam Railway and The Milky Way, to name a few are all also within easy reach.
