Take your pick from a trip to Lightwater Valley Theme Park (9 miles) and Monk Park Farm (10 miles) with the children, or spend a day perusing the delights of the city of Harrogate (20 miles), soaking up the Georgian architecture or treating yourself to a spa. The two national parks (within 12 miles) offer an array of opportunities for walking and cycling surrounded by natural beauty with areas such as Yearsley Woods (25 miles) providing a great day out for all.
