With breathtaking sea views, Fistral Rises's homely seaside style gives you an opportunity to kick back and recharge your batteries, with your loved ones and the gentle lapping of waves for company. Its unsurpassed views of the ocean are not the only reason to retreat here. The light and airy interior reflects the sea at every turn; from blues and whites, bleached wood and nautical touches dotted about the house, to the sheltered patio area outside. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco or take a seat at the beautiful glass dining table, where you can watch the white horses in the surf while you enjoy a home-cooked meal. Head down to the beach to hit the waves, or spread yourself out on the sand if that sounds like too much hard work. When dusk draws you off the beach, wander up to Rick Stein's fish and chip restaurant for a bite. If you're after a hike, take the South West Coast Path for wildlife, geology and sublime scenery, or stay closer to home in Newquay, a 2-mile walk from the apartment.
