Nature lovers can enjoy the beauty of the national park, while history buffs can explore the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home to HMS Victory & the Mary Rose, both of which are within 9.5 miles. The Roman city of Chichester is 11.5 miles away, and offers walks along the ancient walls, a stunning cathedral and Festival Theatre. The vibrant Goodwood Estate with its plethora of high profile events is within easy reach. The local beaches are perfect for water sports, and there are places locally to hire boards; the Billy Trail from the doorstep leads to a Blue Flag beach 4.5 miles away.
