The area is criss-crossed by beautiful walks and is within easy reach of a wide variety of attractions. Cranmore is home to the East Somerset Railway, which runs a 5-mile scenic round trip through the Mendips. The market town of Shepton Mallet is just 3.5 miles away, while Frome is 9 miles away, boasting an array of independent boutiques and galleries. For days out, the stately home and drive-through safari at Longleat are just 14 miles away, while Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge can both be reached within 16 miles. Garden lovers won’t want to miss the extraordinary landscapes of Stourhead, 14 miles away, while for history, museums, shopping and food, the elegant city of Bath is 17 miles away.
