Only 4 miles away, Arundel is famous for its stunning castle, cathedral, cafes and independent stores, while 8.5 miles away, Roman cathedral city Chichester is home to a number of notable treasures and boasts a vibrant arts scene. The South Downs is a walker’s wonderland, with endless footpaths, bridleways and byways to explore, plus numerous nature reserves and wildlife-watching spots. For coastal day trips, Climping is only 4 miles away and a popular destination for windsurfing and walking, while neighbouring Littlehampton has two beautiful beaches plus a bustling harbour and marina. No visit to West Sussex would be complete without a trip to Goodwood (8 miles) – famous for its Festival of Speed, the estate hosts a full calendar of events.
