Stroll to the nearby farm shop, where you’ll find fresh local produce, a welcoming cafe and a small brewery. From here, you can wander along to Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, the largest natural lake in the South West. Just beyond the Ley is Slapton Sands, a long stretch of shingle beach for shoreline strolls and paddling. Alternatively, lace up your walking boots and join the South West Coast Path for spectacular views. Finish your day with dinner at one of Stokenham’s two friendly village pubs. Visit Dartmouth (9 miles) for boutique shops and harbour life, or Salcombe (11 miles) for sailing, beaches and ice cream. Literary fans will enjoy Agatha Christie’s Greenway (15 miles), while walkers will find endless trails across Dartmoor National Park (14 miles). Enter the ground floor, beginning with a central hallway that connects the main living areas. A bright, well-equipped kitchen overlooks the rear garden and leads through double doors into the dining room – ideal for sociable meals together. The cosy sitting room boasts plush seating along with a Smart TV and DVD player, making it an inviting spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Also on this floor is a stylish Jack and Jill shower room, which can be accessed either from the hallway or from the adjoining bedroom.
