Nearby, the village of Hawes (15.5 miles) has plenty to offer, with scenic viaducts and infamous waterfalls. The market town of Kendal lies less than 11 miles away with lots to see and do, including the world-renowned castle ruins and delicious mint cake! Heading through the front door, you are instantly welcomed into the open-plan kitchen/dining area – the slate floors are covered with soft rugs to warm the toes after a day on the fells.
