It is an easy drive from the Lake District National Park with its breathtaking scenery and attractions. Staveley is a historic village with plenty of delicious eateries. Head to nearby Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, less than 5 miles away, to experience the charming lakeside views, opportunities to take to the water on a steamer, or to stay landside and indulge at a wide range of popular eateries. The picturesque mountain landscapes are a beacon for hikers with gentle walks at Tarn How or the challenge of Scafell Pike, both within 20 miles. Otherwise, you can head 5 miles to visit The Beatrix Potter Attraction or Brockhole, which are perfect for families of all ages, and are only 6.5 miles away.
