Escape to the countryside in this gorgeous holiday retreat in the small village of Upper Sapey. The tranquil property, which has a sociable open-plan layout, is surrounded by rolling countryside and offers the perfect base for families and friends, with the dogs in tow, planning outdoor adventures together. Enjoy scenic strolls across the nearby Bromyard Downs (5 miles) or hop in the car and journey to The Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve (10 miles) or the Malvern Hills (8.5 miles). You’ll be within easy reach of the ancient market towns of Bromyard (6.5 miles) and Tenbury Wells (8 miles), both of which have a great range of independent shops and eateries. Other charming destinations nearby include Ludlow, Hereford, Great Malvern, Bewdley and Ledbury (all within 20 miles). Local attractions include Witley Court and Gardens, National Trust Brockhampton, West Midlands Safari Park, The Severn Valley Railway and the famous hill climb at Shelsley Walsh (all within 15 miles). This beautifully converted, 19th-century stable block sits within a private, walled courtyard and is full of personality with its exposed beams and thoughtful design features. Enter the hallway, where you’ll find a bench to kick off walking shoes plus hanging space for coats. Just off the hallway is a handy utility room. Moving through to the heart of the home, you’ll discover a bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden floorboards, and doors opening onto the courtyard. The chic kitchen area is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering getaway, while the large wooden dining table is perfect for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. At the opposite end of the room is a calming lounge area with sumptuous sofas and a Smart TV with complimentary Netflix. Completing the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and French doors leading to a seperate private courtyard perfect for morning coffees. Upstairs, the mezzanine landing leads to the two remaining bedrooms, both with relaxing, neutral decor and characterful original features. One of the bedrooms has a king bed with en-suite shower room, and the other offers a super king with zip and link feature (can be made into twin beds on request). There is also a stunning family bathroom with a luxury clawfoot bath. Please note, the first floor has sloping ceilings and low beams, and you may experience restricted head height in some areas. Guests will enjoy luxurious linens, fluffy bathrobes, and high-quality eco-friendly toiletries throughout the property. Outside, the spacious and enclosed courtyard is cobbled for character and offers a charming space lit by festoon lighting and a cosy fire pit. Gather at the outdoor furniture for al fresco feasts cooked up on the Kamado-style BBQ or recline in the soft seating for evening tipples. Guests will also find private parking for four cars. Coming soon, available from the 15th December 2025 is a wood fired Cotswold Eco Hot Tub.
