A beautifully created, split-level retreat, this handsome Isle of Wight holiday home is the perfect place to make memories together. Sleeping 10 guests, the four-bedroom cottage is ideal for sizeable groups. Set in attractive countryside surroundings in Whitwell, 6 miles from Ventnor, it is also perfect for anyone wishing to be close to the beach. Take the children to splash in the sea at Ventnor, or head to Steephill Cove, 5.5 miles away, with nets and buckets to poke about in rockpools. The family theme park of Blackgang Chine is 4.5 miles away and promises a thrilling experience for all, while the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, 5.5 miles away, and Amazon World Zoo, 6 miles away, will certainly be winners with little ones. The wooded ravine at Shanklin Chine, 7.5 miles away, and Ventnor Botanic Garden, 5.5 miles from the cottage, are lovely places for getting close to nature. Head inside via the entrance hall and wander on into the cottage to find yourselves in the wing where all your bedrooms and bathrooms are housed. The corridor here leads to two lovely king-sizes and a twin, as well as a children’s bedroom, which has two sets of bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom, with both a bath and a shower, and a family shower room close by. From this corridor, stone steps lead down to the lower level of the converted farm building, where your welcoming living accommodation is situated. Here you have a light and airy, open-plan lounge/diner where you can congregate to spend special holiday time together. There is ample space here for everyone to spread out on the sumptuous seating to chat, play games or watch TV. There is also a dining table where you can sit down to meals. Open the garden door here instead and wander outside to enjoy meals in the fresh air. The adjoining kitchen has been well fitted out to ensure you have everything you need to help you prepare snacks and meals during your stay. Make the most of your enclosed garden on sunny days. Grill fresh Isle of Wight produce on the BBQ, then call everyone to join you at one of the tables. Take the youngsters off to various play areas and to get to know the animals.
