Your next adventure awaits in the village of Bamburgh, where this charming country cottage invites guests to enjoy quality time together on the invigorating Northumberland Coast National Landscape. Perfectly located, the property is within walking distance of the village’s shops, pubs, the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, and its historic castle (all less than 0.5 miles). Bamburgh Beach (0.5 miles) offers wide sandy shores, ideal for ball games, sunbathing, and water sports. Follow the coastal path to Seahouses (3.5 miles), home to The Ocean Club leisure centre and spa, where discounted services are available through the property’s membership. This lively village is also worth exploring for its bustling harbour, golf club, and panoramic views of the Farne Islands. Continue further up the coast towards Fenham (10.5 miles) to discover the remarkable Holy Island (12.5 miles), crossing the tidal causeway to explore its unique heritage up close. Classic decor complements the property’s original features, with details such as feature fireplaces and antique-style furnishings maintained throughout the two-storey home. Step inside and move through to the back of the house, where the kitchen/diner awaits with parquet flooring and softly painted cabinets. This welcoming space has everything you need to cater for family and friends, and a door leads directly out to the courtyard. Also on this floor are two of the three bedrooms: a cheerful twin room and a double with an additional single bed, both light-filled and comfortable. Upstairs, the lounge and master bedroom enjoy elevated views over Bamburgh’s rooftops and towards the castle. The lounge provides year-round comfort with soft seating, a Smart TV, and a wood burner, while the master bedroom offers a king-size bed, ample storage, and plenty of space to unpack. The family bathroom on this floor features a charming fireplace, while an additional WC next door adds convenience. At the back of the property, a small yet well-maintained courtyard offers a pleasant spot to relax with a drink in the sunshine. Enclosed and pet-friendly, it’s equipped with an outdoor table for sociable gatherings. While there is no private parking, you can unload outside the property upon arrival.
