This charming two-bedroom cottage in Skeeby is perfect for couples or a small family, with a friendly community-run pub serving local food and ales right next door. Surrounded by the rolling landscapes of Swaledale and the Yorkshire Dales, the area is a dream for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers alike. Just 2.5 miles away, Richmond is a bustling market town where you can wander the cobbled Market Place, browse the weekly and monthly farmers’ markets. While away a few hours wandering down Richmond’s winding streets brimming with independent shops, cosy tearooms and welcoming pubs. History lovers will enjoy exploring Richmond Castle, a striking Norman fortress with panoramic views and riverside walks leading to dramatic waterfalls. For a change of pace, visit The Station – a beautifully restored Victorian railway building with its own cinema, art gallery, real ale brewery and ice cream parlour. Inside, the terraced cottage is full of character, with original ceiling beams, feature fireplaces and painted wooden floorboards.
