Set on the scenic west coast of Cumbria, this welcoming holiday cottage is an excellent base for a couple’s escape or a fun-filled family getaway. Just under a mile away, Silecroft Beach invites you to spend laid-back days by the sea, building sandcastles, paddling in the waves, or simply enjoying a bite to eat. Silecroft, located in the Lake District National Park but a peaceful destination to explore the stunning surroundings. Golf lovers can tee off with coastal views at the nearby Silecroft Golf Course (1 mile), while curious explorers should visit the Giant’s Grave Standing Stones (2 miles), a fascinating and mysterious site with panoramic views. A fabulous day out awaits at Muncaster Castle (11 miles) and for the ramblers Black Combe Mountain (7 miles). Take a drive to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway (13 miles) and ride the steam train through stunning Lakeland scenery or tackle Scafell Pike (24 miles) – England’s highest peak! Step through the front door and into the lounge of this period property, where panelled walls, an open fire, and a Smart TV set the scene for cosy evenings in. Gather around the small circular dining table, perfect for intimate dinners or a morning coffee. Continue through to the sleek galley kitchen, well-equipped for rustling up anything from lazy brunches to hearty evening meals.
