Nature lovers and history enthusiasts can head half a mile from the doorstep to the Talyllyn Narrow Gorge Railway station to board a traditional steam train to the Dolgoch waterfalls, a series of three breathtaking waterfalls, whilst keen walkers can climb to the summit of Cader Idris, 5 miles away.
