Offering colourful, bright and spacious accommodation for up to six guests, this delightful waterfront retreat is perfect for keen walkers, water sports enthusiasts, mountain bikers and sailors exploring an unforgettable part of the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. Occupying a secluded spot along the banks of Loch Lochy, the property makes a fabulous base for an array of outdoor pursuits including skiing at the Nevis Range (12.5 miles). The southern tip of Loch Ness is just 16 miles away, with other local attractions and landmarks including the Ben Nevis Distillery, the Laggan Locks, Glen Roy National Nature Reserve and the Jacobite Steam Train, all within 17 miles. The characterful village of Spean Bridge (7 miles) is home to the Commando Memorial, with the Great Glen Way and the Highland Way passing nearby. A little further south, the vibrant town of Fort William (16 miles) lies on the shores of Loch Linnhe. Entering this spacious and welcoming property, the ground floor greets you with a light-filled and elegantly furnished dining room, providing a fabulous space for you all to get together and enjoy a family meal. Heading up the wooden staircase, the first floor has a beautifully designed and stylishly updated lounge/kitchen with a high vaulted ceiling and large picture windows offering glorious views over the loch. The cheerful lounge has ample seating, a Smart TV and a lovely wood burner, while the kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of storage space, sleek worktops and a handy breakfast bar. From here, a door leads out onto a pretty balcony overlooking the loch. When it’s time to retire for the night, you will have a choice of three gorgeous king-size bedrooms: one on the first floor and two back on the ground floor. One of these charming rooms has a wood burner, two have their own Smart TVs, and all three have refreshing en-suite shower rooms. The ground-floor bedrooms open onto a delightful decked area looking out over the loch. The surrounding garden is enclosed, with a lovely lawn and a charming furnished patio perfect for sharing a BBQ together on a lazy summer’s afternoon as you take in the magnificent scenery. There’s also a quiet stretch of private beach with its own jetty. Parking is available on the driveway for four cars.
