Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, this stunning reverse-level retreat provides elegant, fresh and spacious accommodation for larger families and groups of friends. Imaginatively converted from an old coach-house, the property has been sympathetically updated to make a lovely holiday retreat for nine guests discovering the magnificent northeastern edge of the magical Brecon Beacons National Park. Featuring an eye-catching central wood burner, rich timber beams and a characterful balcony overlooking a picturesque garden, this delightful hideaway is an ideal bolthole for walkers, climbers, cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. Approached via a cobbled path, this traditional property is full of character, with a welcoming farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with ample equipment and a handsome dining table perfect for family get-togethers. Upstairs, the gorgeous lounge features a lovely central wood burner, with a Smart TV, plush furnishings and a beamed vaulted ceiling. At one end, a balcony overlooks the garden offering incredible views. A short flight of stairs leads to a charming en-suite king-size bedroom with wooden beams in the low vaulted ceiling. The remaining bedrooms are back on the ground floor: a single, a children’s bunk bedroom, and two twin bedrooms. The ground floor also has an invigorating shower room. Outside, the beautiful garden is fully enclosed, with a large lawn, a raised pond and a peaceful patio, making an ideal spot for a BBQ and taking in the magnificent surrounding countryside. Private parking is available for two cars – an additional space can be arranged on request. Llangorse Lake (2.5 miles) is a great base for a wide range of activities, including canoeing, walking and sailing. Popular attractions along the central portion of the Brecon Beacons include Dinas Castle, Tretower Castle and Clydach Gorge, all within 15 miles. Both Brecon (10 miles) and Abergavenny (14 miles) have plenty of fantastic pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants.
