For an iconic day trip, jump on a steam train at Whitby Station (0.5 miles) for a 24-mile journey through dramatic countryside, viewed through the window. You can also take the dog along for a restorative stay in this sweet accommodation. On the ground floor of this cosy dwelling, you’ll have a welcoming seating area where you can prepare a meal.
