Just metres away from the bustling Church Street with its friendly pubs, restaurants and tearooms, this beautifully furnished, sympathetically updated home is an ideal holiday base for discovering a wonderful part of the glorious North Yorkshire coast. A flight of external steps leads up to the property, offering a fantastic view over the town when you get to the top. Inside, the welcoming and characterful lounge/diner has wooden beams, comfortable seating and a Smart TV so you can snuggle up in the evening to watch a favourite film. There’s a relaxing dining area by the window, perfect for sharing a romantic meal which you can rustle up in the light, beautifully equipped kitchen. The property lies east of the River Esk, with local attractions including the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the 199 Steps leading up to Whitby Abbey. Crossing the river, the western half of Whitby is home to the Whalebone Arch and the beautiful beach, along with plenty of great places to eat and drink. Heading inland, you can spend a day exploring the beautiful North York Moors National Park (3 miles).
