This modern apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the castles and beaches of the Northumberland coastline. It’s set in the historic hamlet of Waren Mill and looks out over Budle Bay, an important bird sanctuary, and Holy Island (11 miles) which has a coastal castle, an ancient priory and plenty of pubs and cafes. The walk along the coast from Waren Mill to Bamburgh (2.5 miles) is considered one of the most spectacular in the whole of the UK, with the view as you approach Bamburgh second to none. Seahouses, a busy working harbour with seasonal boat trips to Farne Islands, a group of islands teeming with birds and seals, is 6 miles away. The property features an open-plan living and dining area with comfortable seating set around a Smart TV and a dining table for six, and there’s a lovely, galley kitchen with three sea-facing windows.
