This beautiful village is surrounded by a backdrop of Munros, glens, lochs and of course the beautiful Caledonian Canal that runs right through the middle. This is the perfect base to enjoy all the activities, attractions and amenities that Fort Augustus has to offer; you may find it hard to tear yourself away to explore the rest of what these beautiful Highlands have to offer. The cottage is arranged over two floors and is full of character and charm. Using pretty traditional patterns with modern-day furnishings and fittings gives the property a chic vintage feel, welcoming guests into this cosy traditional Highland cottage. On the ground floor lies the open-plan lounge/diner with a wood burner for those chillier nights. A further separate sitting room provides plenty of space for families to get together and plan the next day’s adventures. The kitchen area is bright and well-equipped with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with icebox. Also on this floor is the utility area with washer/ dryer and a shower room with WC. On the first floor (accessed by steep cottage-style stairs) is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and the family bathroom with a bath and WC. Outside, the cottage benefits from a spacious enclosed front garden which is private and secluded by fencing and trees, making it a peaceful and tranquil outside area for guests to be able to relax and unwind in.
